What constitutes a family photo session, you ask?
Any session with your people. your mom, grandparents, fiancé, baby bump, bff who feels like family, crew of kids or just YOU!
I know…it encompasses a lot. But if you’re looking to document you and your tribe in some authentic moments, these sessions are for you.
I believe we are so much better TOGETHER, and I want to tell your story. We’ll meet at an awesome location (or in your home!) and create some memories that will make you cry at your desk when you open your gallery.
At least that’s my goal. =)

+ HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
Send me an email to discuss my availability! Once we settle on a date, I will send you a link to pay your session fee and you’ll be all set!
+ HOW DO I PREP FOR MY SESSION?
Once your session is booked, I will send you a prep guide to help you with all things photo-session related.
+ what is a collection?
The session fee covers my time planning for and shooting your session. A minimum collection fee of $300 includes 25 digital downloads of your choosing from an online gallery. You will have the option to upgrade collections after viewing your gallery.
+ WHAt is the best time of day to SHOOT?
For outdoor sessions- the hour before dusk is ideal. There are select locations I will schedule at an earlier time, but for that warm, golden hour glow… we will schedule you for 1 hour before sunset.
For indoor/in-home sessions- midday is best, so there’s bright light coming in the windows.
+ WHAT IS YOUR TRAVEL FEE?
For travel outside of Orange County, 50 cents per mile.
+ I DON’T KNOW, JILL. MY KID IS A HOT MESS WHEN THERE’S A CAMERA INVOLVED. IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?
YES. First of all: it’s not just your kid. It’s all of them. They would rather be doing LITERALLY anything besides sitting still and smiling for the stranger with the camera. I have some tips for you in the prep guide I’ll send when you book, but just know that I can almost always get your kid to cooperate. And remember: it’s about moments. You want to remember this!
+ IF I WANT TO GO TO A LOCATION FOR MY SESSION THAT REQUIRES ADDITIONAL FEES FOR PARKING, ADMISSION, FERRY RIDE, ETC, DOES YOUR session fee INCLUDE THAT?
No, my session fee only covers my time spent planning for and shooting your session. If you choose a location that charges a permit or entrance fee, you would be responsible for covering that. Parking fees over $10 will also be your responsibility.
+ WHAT IF I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Session fees are non-refundable, but you may reschedule your session one time due to non-weather or emergency related reasons.
+ CAN WE HAVE THE RAW, UNEDITED IMAGES?
Nope. The full scope of my work includes the time and energy I spend editing your photos. Raw images are not available for sale.
+ HOW MANY EDITED IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
My full galleries typically contain 80-100 photos. Photo download collections begin at $300 for 25 images. You will have the option to upgrade your collection after viewing your gallery.
+ WHEN CAN WE EXPECT OUR PHOTOS?
1-3 weeks after your session.
